Ir. Dr. Haslenda Hashim is a professor of Chemical and Energy Engineering, and Head of Green Energy and Environmental Planning (GREEN) research group at the University of Technology, Malaysia (UTM). She first obtained her BEng. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering at UTM. She also holds an MSc. in Chemical Engineering from the same university and a PhD in Carbon Capture Utilizations and Storage (CCUS) from the University of Waterloo, Canada. She is a Registered Professional Engineer to the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), and has vast experience in teaching, module development and research as well as being one of the AEMAS Certified Trainer for the Energy Manager Training Course (EMTC).
